Nucor Steel-Brandenburg is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Administrative Assistant.
The successful candidate will provide customer service to internal and external customers, assist with orientation scheduling and tracking, maintain new hire packets and photos, coordinate housekeeping/safety efforts, coordinate with plant security, maintain visitor logs and gate passes, maintain all directories, process mail, provide clerical support for Administration Team, and perform other administrative duties and projects as needed.
The successful candidate will also have a proven attendance record, displaying dependability and flexibility.
We will only be taking a limited number of applicants.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum
Qualifications:
1 year experience in administrative/office setting Basic knowledge/skillset of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Strong Written and verbal communication skills Must not be limited in HR processes due to immediate relative employment at division.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Proficient with Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Demonstrated ability to multi-task Experience working in a fast-paced work environment Positive problem solver that takes initiative and finds solutions Adaptable to diversified assignments and changing priorities; works well under pressure.
