Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Business Technology (NBT) is seeking qualified applicants for the position of IT Operations Administrator.
The IT Operations Administrator's responsibilities include, but are not limited to, taking care of our customers by executing on Nucor's safety, quality, cost, productivity, and profitability objectives.
The candidate will work with the Team to set goals and continually look for ways to reduce costs and increase performance and data security of the enterprise.
Candidate must be able to work on an as needed basis, including nights and weekends.
The candidate will be responsible for supporting a large scale, complex computing environment of Windows/Linux/VMware/Hyper-V/Azure platforms.
The candidate will be responsible for the upkeep and integrity of the backing up of technology systems.
The candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining an enterprise VMS solution.
Perform day-to-day server hardware, firewall maintenance, enterprise application and database administration, including security patching and configuration management.
Respond to requests, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to software, hardware, security, and network connectivity.
Build, configure, and maintain virtual and physical server environment.
The candidate will be collaborating with individuals both inside IT and across the organization.

Minimum
Qualifications:
Four years combined education and/or experience consisting of any of the following:
Associate Degree in a technology related field, hands-on work experience with Linux and Windows server administration, Windows security, Active Directory, DHCP, and DNS Customer support or help desk experience.
Experience supporting large scale virtual environments with multiple SAN devices.
Experience maintaining an enterprise backup solution.
Firewall and other security systems knowledge Preferred
Qualifications:
Bachelors in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field 5 years related work experience.
VMware VCP Certification Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) Azure Administrator Certification Scripting experience, including but not limited to PowerShell and Python Project management experience Manufacturing-related IT experience, with a preference for process-related industries similar to the steel environment Recommended Skills Active Directory Group Administration Configuration Management Customer Service Dns Databases Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
