Efficiently and safely operate and monitor equipment, valves and pumpsTake readings and samplesHandle raw materials and finished goods using proper PPEPrepare equipment for maintenancePerform line hook ups of assigned areasUnderstand, monitor, and operate a process within safety and operational proceduresComplete all safety and quality training as requiredOperate heavy equipmentFollow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) accuratelyRead and comprehend work instructionsSafely work with hazardous chemicalsWork outdoors for long periods of timeRepetitively lift up to 50 poundsClimb stairs and structuresPossible confined space entryQUALIFICATIONSHigh school education requiredPrior chemical industry experience a plusProduction candidates must be willing and able to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, which includes weekends and holidays on a routine basis and be willing and able to work overtimeGood verbal and written communication skills requiredMust have the ability to accurately perform basic mathematic equations and conversionsGood computer skills neededSAP knowledge and experience a plus.
